Russia Must Strengthen Position In Arctic

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that Moscow had to strengthen its position, economically and militarily, in the resource rich Arctic region, where other countries are vying for influence.

"Our interests are concentrated in the Arctic. And of course we should pay more attention to issues of development of the Arctic and the strengthening of our position (there)," Putin told a youth camp outside Moscow, enumerating military and economic plans for Russia's Arctic.

Putin Addressed Rebels In Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday publicly addressed pro-Russian rebels fighting in southeastern Ukraine for the first time.

" It is clear the militia has achieved a major success in intercepting Kiev’s military operation, which represents a grave danger to the population of Donbass and which has already led to the loss of many lives among peaceful residents," Putin said in his statement to the militia.

"I  call on the militia groups to open a humanitarian corridor for Ukrainian service members who have been surrounded, so as to avoid any needless loss of life, giving them the opportunity to leave the combat area unimpeded and reunite with their families, to return them to their mothers, wives and children, and to quickly provide medical assistance to those who were injured in the course of the military operation," Putin said.

​China will respond to U.S. surveillance flight,

China said Thursday it will continue responding to U.S. military surveillance flights off its coast, rejecting American accusations that one of Beijing's fighter jets acted recklessly in intercepting a U.S. Navy plane last week.

Defense Ministry spokesman Yang Yujun said China's military would closely monitor U.S. flights and reiterated calls for the U.S. to scale back or end such missions altogether.

"According to different situations we will adopt different measures to make sure we safeguard our air and sea security of the country," Yang said at a monthly news briefing.

China has long complained about U.S. surveillance flights that just skim the edge of China's territorial airspace. However, Yang said such flights this year have become more frequent, are covering a wider area and are coming even closer to the Chinese coast.

U.S. sea and air surveillance missions occur most frequently during Chinese military exercises or weapons tests, raising the risk of accidents and misunderstandings, Yang said.

That was a likely reference to an incident last December in which China accused a U.S. Navy cruiser, the USS Cowpens, of having veered too close to China's sole aircraft carrier in the South China Sea during sea drills. That nearly led to a collision with a Chinese navy ship in the most serious sea confrontation between the two nations in years.

The latest incident also revived memories of the 2001 collision between a Chinese jet and a U.S. Navy surveillance aircraft off China's Hainan Island, killing the Chinese pilot and forcing the Navy plane to make an emergency landing on the island.

Yang, however, wouldn't say what distance China considers acceptable, saying only that the U.S. should scale back or end such flights entirely if it wants to avoid potential accidents and build mutual trust.

The Pentagon said that in the Aug. 19 encounter, a Chinese jet made several close passes by the Navy P-8 Poseidon plane, coming within 30 feet of it at one point.

It said that included the Chinese jet doing a "barrel roll" maneuver over the top of the Poseidon -- a modified Boeing 737 -- and passing across the nose of the Navy plane apparently to show that it was armed.

The incident took place about 135 miles from Hainan, which is home to naval airfields and a highly sensitive submarine base.

Yang rejected U.S. accusations that the Chinese pilot acted in a dangerous and unprofessional manner, saying it was the U.S. that seemed to have little regard for the safety of its personnel.

"China is a developing country. Our aircraft are very precious. The lives of our pilots are even more precious," Yang said. "Compared to countries that ask their pilots to fly down on other countries' door steps, we cherish more the safety of our personnel and equipment."

RUSSIA AID CAN ONLY ENTER UKRAINE WITH RED CROSS ROLE

Ukraine has said it will not allow a mammoth Russian convoy reportedly carrying aid for the war-torn east to enter its territory and that any assistance should be handed over at the border.

"We will not consider the possibility of any movement of the Russian column on the territory of Ukraine," said Valeriy Chalyy, deputy head of the presidential administration, adding that any aid would have to be loaded onto transport provided by the Red Cross and that no Russian personnel would be allowed to escort it.

Russia despatched some 300 heavy lorries carrying humanitarian aid to eastern Ukraine early on Tuesday amid NATO warnings that Russian military intervention in the civil war there is increasingly likely.

The move appears bound to raise tensions between the two neighbours, who have lurched dangerously close to war amid mutual accusations of cross-border shelling and incursions in recent weeks.

Russian media said 280 Kamaz lorries left the Alabino military base in the Moscow region in the early hours of the morning, carrying aid bound for the residents of Ukraine’s war torn Luhansk region.

A Ukrainian security spokesman said the convoy of vehicles was being managed by the Russian army and that it could not be allowed into the country.

The humanitarian crisis provoked by fighting between government troops and pro-Russian separatist militants in eastern Ukraine has reached a critical point in recent days and heightened the urgent need for intervention.

But Ukraine and the West have voiced concerns that Russia could use the aid initiative as a cover for sending troops into separatist-held territory.

"This convoy is not a certified convoy. It is not certified by the International Committee of the Red Cross," said Andriy Lysenko, a spokesman for Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council. "No military structures have the right to escort humanitarian aid convoys, especially into another state."

“He had a fantastic World Cup with Holland and is a manager who has nothing to learn.

“After Alex Ferguson, last year for United was more difficult and now they have to repeal the team. They have signed really good players this year. But to build a team is not so easy.

“The Premier League in this moment is a very competitive league and will not be easy to win in the first year because there are a lot of teams who are really competitive and want to win.”

You are the vanguard for the ENTIRE world... against such
future aggression... they are the last of European evil... Much of the world is
still stupidly thinking that it's not their concern... or that everything will
be alright if they just close their eyes and ears... like they did with
Hitler... or they use their limited small brains to justify their own comfort
and security over a world threat. They cannot see beyond their dinner plate and
their warm homes.

Your situation started with a mere handful of people and was
preceded by an incredible history of world strife and terrible bloodshed right
up to the recent Orange Revolution.

AND THEN... Your magnificent Maiden!!!!!! Now, your ideas,
messages, and actions have spread across the world. The rise in popularity of
your movement and sociological changes to break free of the control and
manipulation by corrupt, thieving leaders and free of Putin and his evil
henchmen, spies, and assassins has broken your shackles. You are building a new
and great nation, and we, the world, hope it will be a model of democracy,
freedom, economic success, and a government and society that is free of corruption
and gives representation, opportunity, and prosperity to ALL the people in ALL
the cities including Russian speaking populations—free
of bigotry, racism, and oppression. Your actions and your situation has
cast a light with intense focus on the mind control of nearly the entire
population of Russia and the decay of much of the West.

There are at least 7 points that must be addressed:

1. Western Europe has sold its soul to the DEVIL. Western
Europe has sold its soul to Russia for oil and is afraid of an economic
collapse to a still recovering economy, if they don't get their drug fix of
Russian oil. They must find a way back to grace and sanity, NOW!

2. No country can conceive of fighting a country that has
nuclear weapons and might be insane enough to use them—but nuclear weapons have
been around for many years; battles STILL can be contained to conventional
weapons in situations such as the U.S. and NATO fighting with and for Ukraine
in Ukraine.

3. Some leaders and business people (especially in Germany
and the U.S.) still think that Putin can be negotiated with... WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! Many of these business leaders would
sell their own mothers to the devil for the earnings from oil deals.

4. Obama rightly or wrongly is trying to bring the troops
home and avoid any future conflicts because he made promises during the
election process and counts this as one of his promises kept; this NO LONGER
applies as we have a new situation that has worldwide momentous tipping point
energies.

5. Most of the world doesn't know anything about Ukraine and
doesn't care; Ukraine must get back on the world stage and send English
speaking messengers to every country for support of their war and economy. The
world is NOT going to read your Ukrainian language or Russian. It’s the way it
is in this world today. English has become the universal language. Get over it!
AND respect ALL other languages in Ukraine including Russian!

6. Those who do know and care, the U.S. government and NATO,
woke up late to the fact that Putin cannot be trusted, can't be negotiated
with, is dishonest, treacherous, deadly, aggressive, evil and has brain washed
the Russian people ... and so they are moving MUCH TOO SLOWLY to get arms to
Ukraine, military support, troops when needed, and other assistance.

7. Those sitting around warm comfortable dinner tables
thinking about stopping the violence have no clue that their peace and freedom
was won by violence, combat, bloodshed, the death and sacrifice of 10s of
thousands of men and women for them to be so complacent, comfortable... and
arrogantly certain of their beliefs.

YOU, Ukraine, have brought the civilized world to the
critical mass, the threshold, the boiling point, a state change... This is NOT
a new cold war; it is the final gasp of breath of the cold war that we, like
the cartoon monkey that sees no evil, hears no evil, and speaks no evil,
wrongly thought was over. ...an unforgiveable mistake, miscalculation, and
intelligence failure by the West. It is
A TIPPING POINT where no so-called-civilized nation will ever again be able to
defy the laws of the world and destabilize, encroach and seize territory of
another. It is a new beginning for world peace—NOT
the opposite.

THINGS WHICH CAN SOLVE RELATIONSHIP PROBLEM

It's the rare couple that doesn't run into a few bumps in the road. If you recognize ahead of time, though, what those relationship problems might be, you'll have a much better chance of getting past them.

Even though every relationship has its ups and downs, successful couples have learned how to manage the bumps and keep their love life going, says marriage and family therapist Mitch Temple, author of The Marriage Turnaround. They hang in there, tackle problems, and learn how to work through the complex issues of everyday life. Many do this by reading self-help books and articles, attending seminars, going to counseling, observing other successful couples, or simply using trial and error.

Relationship Problem solving strategies:

1. Make an actual appointment with each other, If you live together, put the cell phones on vibrate, put the kids to bed, and let voice mail pick up your calls.
2. If you can't "communicate" without raising your voices, go to a public spot like the library, park, or restaurant where you'd be embarrassed if anyone saw you screaming.
3. Set up some rules. Try not to interrupt until your partner is through speaking, or ban phrases such as "You always ..." or "You never ...."
4. Use body language to show you're listening. Don’t doodle, look at your watch, or pick at your nails. Nod so the other person knows you're getting the message, and rephrase if you need to. For instance, say, "What I hear you saying is that you feel as though you have more chores at home, even though we're both working." If you're right, the other can confirm. If what the other person really meant was, "Hey, you're a slob and you create more work for me by having to pick up after you," he or she can say so, but in a nicer way.
5. Plan plan. Making an appointment,  but not necessarily at night when everyone is tired. Maybe during the baby's Saturday afternoon nap or a "before-work quickie." Ask friends or family to take the kids every other Friday night for a sleepover. "When sex is on the calendar, it increases your anticipation," Changing things up a bit can make sex more fun, too, she says. Why not have sex in the kitchen? Or by the fire? Or standing up in the hallway?
6. Learn what truly turns you and your partner on by each of you coming up with a personal "Sexy List," suggests California psychotherapist Allison Cohen. Swap the lists and use them to create more scenarios that turn you both on.
7. If your sexual relationship problems can't be resolved on your own, Consult a qualified sex therapist to help you both address and resolve your issues.
8. Last but not listed relationship is all about close communication.
